Juniors - Timaru Golf Club

For the game of golf juniors are between the ages of 5 and 18. This is not to be confused with the handicap categories that adults (and juniors with handicaps) play in which is Senior, Intermediate, Junior A and Junior B.

Dates of the 12 week programme for the young junior golfers are;

4^th September
11^th September
18^th September
25^th September
2^nd October
9^th October
16^th October
23^rd October
30^th October
6^th November (note 11am-1pm)
13^th November

The week of the 20^th November is a break

27^th November (Final Coaching day plus competitions and prize giving).

Classes start at 1pm through to 2:30pm depending on the size of the class.

Also:

There is a small charge of $2.50 per player for each session. Players can pay for the whole 12 week programme in one initial reduced payment of $25:00.

There will be a trophy for the most improved junior golfer on each Sunday. The winner of each week will get to take the trophy home and bring it back the next week.

You can only win the trophy once during the 12 week sessions.

I will evaluate player performance each week as well as behaviour on the golf course which will go towards prize giving at the end of the 12 week programme.
