Golf Quote of the week
|
Golf is like a love affair. If you don't take it seriously, It's no fun; If you do take it seriously, it breaks your heart. Golf is the closest game to the game we call life. You get bad breaks from good shots; you get good breaks from bad shots – But you have to play the ball where it lies. |

Course Care
|
Repairing Ball-Marks Whenever you reach a green, search for and repair your and any other found pitch marks - Always start at the back of the mark and push forward with the repairer.
- Use repairer around all sides and slowly ease turf toward the centre of the mark. Do not lift the soil upwards.
- Lightly tap down with putter.
Divot RepairThe best way to repairing fairway divots is to replace your divot THEN place some sand over the divot to stop birds. This was passed on to Owen Berrill by Geoff Clarke ex pro at Russley. |
