TIMARU GOLF CLUB SURVEY RESULTS 123 members responded to the survey (93 male and 30 female) Did you play in the Saturday field during the trial period? 69 (57%) Yes and 52 (43%) No Do you agree that both men and women should have open access to tee times on a Saturday? 91 (74%) Yes and 28 (23%) No with 4 (3%) unsure Do you agree that men and women should be able to play together on a Saturday if they would like to? 85 (69%) Yes and 35 (29%) No with 3 (2%) unsure Would you support both men and women participating in the Saturday competition of the day? This is limited to the competition of the day and does not include trophy events. 77 (63%) Yes and 43 (35%) No with 3 (2%) unsure Would you like the conditions of the trial to become permanent? 73 (60.5%) Yes and 39 (32%) No with 9 (7.5%) unsure The Ad Hoc Committee recommended to the Timaru Golf Club Committee that based on the above results the trial conditions should continue. After discussion a vote was held and it was passed that the conditions of the trial will continue, reviewable at the next AGM. |
