The beautiful weather continues and so do the numerous tournaments keep coming.

This week we have a team going to Tinwald ( Lois, Carol, Cath ). Three teams to Gleniti (Morna/Carol, Susan/Cath, Gurbux/Miranda )

The Timaru Birdies (Lynda, Susan, Miriam, and House) just snuck into the prizes at Temuka last Monday - well done. Four pairs went to Mayfield and the Preens playing their first time together came home 5th on countback. We were all fed incredibly well and it was an extremely friendly tournament and a late night home. Morna and Mike still there when we left !

Tuesday 11August Pleasant Point and Temuka are visiting us. We will play a triangular tournament average based on Stablefords. This will be a normal club no fuss day though Simon will be doing soup and a roll ($5.00). Tee bookings as usual though as you will see Ive altered them to mix you all up. Get your card out and at the end of the day manually enter your score and like always put your card through the slot .Idea behind this is that we have different people to play with. A fun happy day.
