We are 4 days into Level 3 and our course is open. The course is in wonderful condition and we have had a good number of people out enjoying the course.
While most members are doing the right thing and playing on their own or in their bubble we have had people trying to push the boundaries and extend their bubbles.
We have had a number of requests from people wanting to bring people into their bubble so they can play together. The Guidelines are very clear and state that you can only play by yourself or with someone that is in your bubble or your extended bubble that is a family member or an isolated person.
You cannot make someone an isolated person just for convenience sake to play golf. The Isolated person must not have had any contact with anyone else during both Level 4 and 3.
If members do not stick to the Guidelines we may be forced to close the course until Level 2 starts.
The options are we play by the rules or we have to have members at the course to make sure people are doing things right, and if we can’t get people to help then we close the course.
