Women's Golf News

Hi All

Sadies this week are Rosie Carruthers and Wendy Smith.

Geraldine Tournament Our two Teams who played on Thursday weren’t in the prizes but The Rats snuck ahead of the Timaru Lakers by one and I happened to come home with more money than I went with thanks to the lucrative twos. Well done to Miranda who played her first Teams tournament.

Pleasant Point Tournament We have three teams entered tomorrow, Monday which is brilliant so good luck to all those playing.

Championships Names up please.

Knockout. Janet Rae and Kerrie Cady have both had good wins and are now to play each other in the semi final. Margaret Jones beat Wendy today to also be in the semi final. She awaits the winner of Pat Duffy and Kelly Karton who are playing on Tuesday.

Up Coming Tournaments for August. Temuka Teams Monday 3 August

Tinwald Teams Thursday 6 August

Gleniti 2BBB Thursday 13 August

Geraldine Assoc. 9 Holers Friday 14 August

Lower Waitaki Teams Thursday 20 August.

Rakaia Canadian 4somes Friday 21

Timaru Thursday 27 Irish Stableford.

Ashburton Vets Assoc.

Covid-19 has certainly pushed everything into one month !!!! Put your teams up on the board and I will enter them and if you don’t have a team and want to play I will do my best to find you a team.

See lots of you tomorrow and again on Tuesday. Go the Rats.

Cheers Cath
