Ladies Captain Report

Hi All

Ha Steve the women accepted the putting challenge of the greens ( women are extremely adaptable ) and thus Lynda 29 Putts, second Kathy Williams( House) 31 and third Janet Rae 32.

Champion of Champions. Ginny, Cath and Kerrie competed in this event at Pleasant Point. Ginny won the Gross overall. Team wise we all held our end up but weren’t in the top prizes though I did win a raffle. Thanks to House and Susan coming out to caddie- much appreciated.

Bronze Champion of Champions. Carol, Kath and Jude McKenzie competed at this event at Geraldine. Carol shot a Nett72 bringing home the runner up prize.

Two Firsts. Nicola Scott played her first round at 18 holes. Brilliant effort and Jude McKenzie also played her first round of 18 holes another fabulous effort. Hopefully we will see you playing more .very exciting.

Next Tuesday. Lynda and I are away. As usual you fill your tee times in and play as you normally do. Count your putts as it is again putting as we handled those greens so well!!!. Write the putts on your card and leave them where I can find them and record ( probably the white dish )

Sadies Lynda / Lois

Cheers enjoy

Catherine

...and finally
As some of you may be aware, I m out for the next couple of months with a bung back.  I would like to confirm that this was not caused by foul play: I was not chased across the course by a demonic golf buggy controlled by an angry Aussie in an unusual hat; nor was it the result of any sort of conjugal high jinks (more's the pity) - simply wear and tear I'm afraid.

It does, however, leave me with a bit of an issue, and as a result, a request - as I won't be at the course for a wee while, I will miss out on the source of my weekly musings to you all.  I would ask, then, that when you come across an amusing anecdote, could you please contact me and let me know what the craic is, and I will immortalise the best tales in the weekly report

I was planning on having a members annual review at the end of the year, anyway, so if you have any highlights you would like to share from 2020(!), please let me know

Thanks very much for your help, and I look forward to hearing from you

In the meantime, play well and stay well

Steve

PS it's great to hear about the adaptability of the Ladies section....I am simply not brave enough to comment any further (and I can't run at the moment either).
