Richard Cole Golf Cart

I have had a number of members inquiring about what was happening with Richard Cole’s Golf Cart, or if it was available to purchase.

I have spoken with Denise Cole, and the family have agreed that it is best that Richards Golf Cart is sold to a Timaru Golf Club member, and the money received be donated to the Golf Club.

We have had the cart assessed by the Club Car agents and they have given us a valuation of $2500 to $3000.

We believe the fairest way to sell the cart is to ask for any Full 18 hole or 9 Hole paid up financial member who is interested to register their interest and we will draw the winner.

The price will be $3000 and the cart is sold on an “AS IS WHERE IS” basis. No liability to the Cole family or the Timaru Golf Club. (Note – there is an annual storage fee for carts stored at the golf club)

Any Full 18 or 9 hole financial member wanting to register their interest must do so by emailing me harv.lois.king@xtra.co.nz by Friday 6th November 7:00pm. I will confirm receipt of your interest. All names will be put in the draw and the winner will be drawn on Monday 9th November.

The money should be paid to the Timaru Golf Club as a donation which you can now claim against as the club now has Charitable Status.
