To all members,

     Due to the continuing sodden conditions and following consultation with some senior members we have decided to alter the Local Rules around "Placing" on the course to retain the enjoyment of our game.

     The usual Local Rule of one club length placing, no nearer the hole, on your own fairway is retained. This does mean that if you deem that a better lie is to be had in the rough and it is within the one club length then it is available for you to use.

     "Through the green" being the rest of the course you have the option of marking your ball, cleaning it, and replacing it as near as possible to the spot that it was lifted from. This DOES NOT give the liberty of a club length placing.
