Our Men's 2019 Shootout was played on Sunday 24th November 2019, with a 9am tee off. Our following Club Members played off in the final:
Ron Hobbs, Harvey King, Stu Chapman, Russell Crossan, Dave McEwing, Reigardt Du Plessis, Steve Compton, David Irvine, Sid Keen, Jimmy Annett, Brian Leonard, Mark Goodhew, Chris Dawson, Tim Hayman, Jim Wilson, Bryce Ranger, Lindsay Hewitson, Pete Shaw Hole by hole a player was eliminated until the final two emerged. Jimmy Annett and Stu Chapman played the 18th well and could not be divided so a chip-out was required with Stu Chapman producing the winning shot. Hi to everyone, this is my final message to you all.
I wish to thank you all for a very enjoyable evening on Wednesday nite, and so good to see so many new, current and past members. Thank you to those who helped make it a special occasion to celebrate 120 years for ladies golf at the Timaru golf club.
Thank you to Ian our photographer for the many photos, a few too many of me and an excellent one of the whole group to mark the occasion.
To the caterer thank you Simon and assistants for a lovely meal, I hope you all enjoyed your evening.
Congratulations to the trophy winners and surprise winners. It's very special to get a trophy that you haven't won before, as Margaret said.
Thank you to the members who did the flowers and the made the nibbles.
