Special Event on Course
|
On Monday 9 December a special charity fundraising event for the Cancer Society will take place on our course. Four players from Fulton Hogan, lead by one of our members, Thomas McGeever, will complete 72 holes during the day with an extra 1-2 people joining them at various times for moral support. Tee off will take place at 5.30am (Sunrise is around 5.44am!) with an estimated finish time of 9pm (unless they get through faster!) What a great idea for a very worthy cause. Make sure you encourage the players if you are out on our course on Monday. We wish the team all the very best for this long day! |

The Week Ahead Monday 9 December – Play 6 Get a Fix 5.15pm Women & Men Monday 9 December – AGM 7.30pm Clubhouse Tuesday 10 December- Women’s 18 hole Stableford Wednesday 11 December – Stableford 12 noon. Cards in by 11.45. Results Stu Wednesday Xmas wind-up tournament There will be a $10 fee for the day (instead of the usual $6) which will be added to the weekly amount we have put aside during the year so we will have some good prizes. First prize will be be a Xmas ham so well worth winning. Every one who plays will receive a prize. For those who have not played 10 rounds during the year there will be an extra charge of $2 per week. We have a list so will let you know on the day. It would be great to have a good turnout to help celebrate a great year of Wednesday golf. Thursday 12 December – Women’s 9 hole Thursday 12 December – Twilight Golf – Ambrose. Last Twilight for the year. 5pm $6/player/9 holes. Meals and bar available after play. Crusher and Kath will be spinning the raffle wheel. Come along for a great night of golf and entertainment!
