Stableford. Cards by 11.45am Tee off 12 noon

Thursday 6 February

9 hole women

Twilight Golf. 5pm tee off. Bar and BBQ available after play

Friday 7 February

9 hole men 9.30am tee off

12 hole golf 12noon – 4pm Come along and try this new option!

Saturday 8 February

18 hole ladies Brenda Greenall Cup (Silver), Jill Shore Cup/Bremford Salver (Bronze 2),  1 Grant Cup, 1 LGU.

Men - Stableford Yellow tees

Cards in by 11.45. Tee off 12noon or 8am-9am


Membership Cards
All financial members of the Timaru Golf Club have now had 2020 season membership cards printed off.
These are available for collection from the Clubrooms. 
 
We ask that these cards are attached to your golf bag for easy identification on course. 

Fundraising
Raffle tickets have been distributed to members to sell.
Please return raffle money to the green fees box or Kathy Williams at 37 Selwyn Street.

$2/ticket raffle.

There are 9 great prizes.

1st Accommodation including Dinner, Bed & Breakfast for two people for two nights at the Cromwell Hotel

We are asking that every club member sells or buys a booklet of raffle tickets ($20 total) – or more than one of course! At just $2 per ticket these should be extremely easy to sell.

This is your chance for you to book a lesson or to book a club-fitting appointment time.
Bookings can be made at the Pro-Shop. Phone 688 2012  or call in between 9 - 5pm.
 
New Callaway Mavrik clubs now available in store for demo use & club-fitting sessions with Willie.

Ladies 18 Holers

Opening day this Tuesday. Please bring a visitor and a plate-Canadian Foursomes.

Competitions: Jill Shore / Brenda Greenall Cup / Bremford Salver are all best four gross scores on appointed days.

Grant Cup-Nett Aggregate, best four.

LGU grades are Silver 0-18.4 Bronze 1 18.5-40.4 Bronze 2 40.5-54.0

Aorangi Waitangi Day Tournament is being held in Ashburton. Committee women representing the club are Lynda Brown, Kerrie Cady and Cath Preen.

Sixes

It’s a great night and it is so good to see lots of new and talented golfers coming into the club. Wonderful to see Sonia at the 9 holers opening day. Also William Ching had an exciting birdie on hole nine. Well done.
