Whoop, whoop

Mt Nessing Day Trip on Thursday 12 March is going ahead. Names up please. Finer details later.

6's

It's a Stableford night so here is you big chance to understand Stableford, a frequently chatted about term in golf.

Ange is still on her machine whizzing about but I believe it's a bit of a bunker coaching night.

A new two on the block this year, both Susan and Margaret are back to help.

Beautiful weather perfect opportunity to bring a friend along to introduce her / him to the game of golf.

Pro shop will remain open until 5.30pm on a Monday so make use of it.

Pennants. The vets had a big win over Lower Waitaki 10-2. Wins went to Miriam, House, Kath. Congrats & well done. Silver had a narrow loss with both Morna and Kelly posting wins. It was first time up for Kelly playing in the silver team representing our club who has come through the sixes. An amazing effort and well done. Fabulous to have you onboard.

Kath M has posted two Gobblers. Brilliant, gobble, gobble, gobble.

National Teams qualifier was played last week. Our team is Kerrie Cady (nett 70) , Kath McCreanor (nett 71), Pat Duffy (nett 69) and Margaret Jones (nett 75) will represent the club. Timaru Club is hosting this event on Friday 17 May.

Entries will be coming down for the foursomes, 4BBB, and singles knockout at the end of the week. Please put your names up.

This week we are playing PAR Round Two not the Nancy McCormack. Due to the handicap system changing over it is not allowed to be played until May. Weekenders I will put your cards into this competition.

Sadies this week are Nicola Scott and Lynne Stark.

Lastly but most importantly I would like to thank you all for the team effort in making the Teams tournament a happy successful day.

Feedback has been very positive and it was great to have Timaru amongst the prize winners

5th -- Young Green, Par Teers ( Morna, Rachel ,Nicki and Sonia ) on 91 Stablefords. (Best 2 of 4 )

Miriam won second shot 24+ on Number 4 and we had a couple of excellent rat catchers Miriam in the hole on number 4 and Susan in Number 16 Bunker rake.

Anyway good golfing.

Cath
