Twilight Golf. 5pm tee off. Bar and meals available after play

Come and enjoy a great Ambrose format, great food, bar open, and the wonderful Kath and Russell Show complete with raffles and generous prizes. A night not to be missed!

Ladies Mt Nessing Trip Whoop Whoop

We have 18 players heading to Mt Nessing on the 12th March. We are hoping some of the Albury ladies will join us.
We need to leave Timaru at 9 am for a 10 am start.Green fees are $5.
We will play a Stableford round with fun prizes to be won!
Car pools have been arranged. If you would like any clarification or reminders of arrangements made please ring Catherine 021499673.
We will head to the Albury pub for lunch around 1pm. James will be opening for us and will serve the usual menu....so no set price.
Should be a good day on a different course.

House and Garden Walk

It's all go. Tickets are in circulation and are available from The Miss Timaru, Accessory Shop and all Hospice Outlets plus committee members.

Please think outside the square and all try and sell a carload plus including a ticket for yourself. Men get your wives to organise a mate or two and they could have a fun day out. The more you sell the more the club makes.

Did you know we offer club re-gripping?
There's nothing worse than slippery grips on the course, especially coming into winter with the colder weather
We have a selection of clubs and putter grips to choose from, so simply drop your clubs into the Pro-Shop to get done
Position available
We are looking for a part time Pro-Shop staff member to join the team, details as follows -
Approximately 3 days per week (weekend work required)
Golf knowledge preferable

Pro-Shop opening hours
Starting from the 16th March the Pro-Shop will be closed every Monday (unless there is a major event being played)
Opening hours will be as follows: Tuesday to Sunday 9am-5pm

Willie's tip of the week - Bunker shots
There are 2 different types of bunker shots, fairway bunkers & greenside bunkers, this is how you play them -
Fairway bunkers: Clipping the ball off the top without hitting the sand before the ball (longer shot)
Greenside bunkers: Sliding your sand wedge through the sand under the ball (shorter shot)
