NZ Women’s Interprovincial Golf Tournament We have been privileged to host and it has been a privilege to watch some exceptional golf over the last week I want to take a moment to thank everyone who helped make the tournament the success it was. New Zealand Golf has been very impressed with the condition and presentation of the course. An outstanding effort by the green team. The provincial teams could not believe we could produce the course we did without paid green keeping staff. A credit to everyone who made the event a success. Thank you to the organising committee and all the volunteers who undertook duties from ball spotting, writing up progress boards, operating the bar, selling raffle tickets, acting as starters, putting up signage and score boards and the many many other duties necessary to make the tournament a success. I hate to name names but Brian Leonard, tournament manager and Cath Preen did a wonderful job. Thank you To members of the golf club, thank you for giving up a week’s golf at the course.
