...and finally
Sorry this is a bit later than planned, I have been flat out, and this is the first chance I have had to get to this

Firstly, congratulations to the NZ Commonwealth Games team on 20 golds, a best ever result I believe?  There seems to be some dispute as there were more medals at the 1990 Auckland games(?), but regardless, to do so well, away from home is very impressive

Equally so is the latest winner on the PGA Tour, Joohyung "Tom" Kim - the second youngest winner since 1932 and the first born this century (just in case you didn't feel old enough

Most remarkable though is that he opened his tournament with a quadruple bogey - now this is not unknown at our own prestiguous establishment, and no doubt will have led to a number of people pulling the pin before walking to the next tee, after snapping their putter/driver/iron, chucking the ball into the lake/over the hedge and swearing never to return - Kim, didn't though, he somehow maintained his composure and carried on playing - a lesson for us all, and the sod is only twenty years old to boot.

It just goes to show that you should never give up (I still hate him)

Stay safe, play well, and I look forward to seeing you out there

Steve
